Job Description

: We seek a skilled and experienced mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various masonry tasks including bricklaying, stonework, concrete work, and tile installation. The mason will execute high-quality construction and repair projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, stones, and concrete blocks to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation.
• Align structures vertically and horizontally using levels and plumb bobs.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate materials required.
• Cut or break bricks and concrete using hammers, power saws, or other equipment.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or other materials in existing structures.
• Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mason or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification or apprenticeship in masonry or a related field.
• Experience with specialized masonry techniques (e.g., decorative stonework, interlocking brick systems).
