Job Description

Job Overview:

The Welder Fabricator is responsible for constructing, assembling, and welding metal structures and components based on blueprints, schematics, and specifications. This role combines both welding skills and fabrication techniques to create custom metal products and repair or modify existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

Reading and Interpreting Blueprints:

Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine welding requirements and specifications. Plan the layout and sequence of welding operations based on project needs.

Fabrication:

Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various tools and machines, such as saws, shears, and presses. Use manual and automated welding equipment to join metal parts. Ensure the final product meets dimensional and structural requirements.

Welding:

Perform various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal parts securely. Set up and operate welding machines and equipment. Monitor and adjust welding settings for optimal performance

Inspection and Quality Control:

Inspect welds and finished products for accuracy, strength, and adherence to specifications. Conduct tests, such as visual inspections and measurements, to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Maintenance and Repair:

Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with welding operations or equipment.

Safety:

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper ventilation in the workspace.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other tradespeople, engineers, and project managers to complete projects efficiently. Communicate effectively to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project specifications. Document any changes or modifications made during the fabrication process.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
