Job Description

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Ticketing Agent to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ticketing and reservations, exceptional customer service skills, and proficiency in travel booking systems. As a Ticketing Agent, you will be responsible for efficiently handling ticketing inquiries, processing bookings, and providing assistance to customers with their travel needs.

Responsibilities:

• Ticketing Services: Assist customers with ticket reservations, changes, cancellations, and refunds for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
• Customer Assistance: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers via phone, email, or in person, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Booking Management: Process ticket bookings accurately and efficiently using computerized reservation systems (CRS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, ensuring all details are entered correctly and in compliance with airline and agency policies.
• Fare Calculation: Calculate fares, taxes, and fees for various itineraries, applying promotional offers, discounts, and special deals as applicable.
• Documentation: Verify and process travel documents such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, ensuring compliance with entry requirements and regulations.
• Sales and Upselling: Promote additional services such as seat upgrades, travel insurance, and ancillary products to enhance the customer's travel experience and increase revenue.
• Inventory Management: Monitor flight availability, seat inventory, and pricing updates to assist customers in making informed booking decisions and maximize sales opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with airline regulations, industry standards, and company policies regarding ticketing, refunds, exchanges, and other procedures.
• Reporting: Generate reports on ticketing activities, sales performance, and customer feedback to track productivity, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Ticketing Agent or similar role in the travel industry, with a thorough understanding of airline ticketing procedures and reservation systems.
• Proficiency in using computerized reservation systems (CRS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, with the ability to navigate multiple screens efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing bookings and handling sensitive customer information.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with clients.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the travel industry.
• Familiarity with UAE travel regulations, visa requirements, and local attractions is desirable.
