Job Summary:

Sweet Greens Restaurant is seeking a passionate and skilled Therapeutic Chef to design and prepare nutritious, health-focused meals tailored to specific dietary needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition, culinary arts, and wellness-focused cuisine. This role requires creativity in developing delicious, health-conscious meals that align with our brand's commitment to healthy living.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare meals that cater to specific health conditions such as diabetes, heart health, weight management, and food allergies.
• Collaborate with nutritionists and dietitians to create meal plans that meet dietary requirements.
• Ensure all dishes are nutritionally balanced while maintaining excellent taste and presentation.
• Source high-quality, organic, and locally sourced ingredients when possible.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
• Stay updated on the latest health trends and dietary guidelines.
• Educate staff and customers about the benefits of therapeutic nutrition.
• Innovate new dishes and modify existing recipes to enhance health benefits.
• Work closely with management to align menu offerings with business goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Therapeutic Chef, Nutrition Chef, or a similar role.
• Culinary degree or certification in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of various dietary needs and therapeutic meal planning.
• Passion for health-conscious and sustainable cooking.
• Excellent culinary and plating skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in holistic nutrition or functional medicine.
• Experience working in a health-focused restaurant or wellness center.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine with a health-focused approach.
