Description:
The restaurant general manager will be responsible for overseeing the total operation of the restaurant by leading both front-of-house and back-of house teams. They will report directly to the restaurant owners and will ensure that all staff are working to achieve an incredible guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly
Ensure that all team members work together to achieve the highest possible quality of food and beverages served, whilst also ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience
Delegate responsibilities to staff
Ensure appropriate shift scheduling
Resolve team conflicts
Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor sales, staff performance, and inventory usage.
Co-ordinate with relevant team members to continuously promote the restaurant
Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure prompt deliveries at optimum costs
Ensure all restaurant assets are maintained
Recruit new staff members and oversee their training
Evaluate staff performance and take necessary measures to improve where needed
Ensure that company policies as well as municipal regulations are being followed
Continuously revise operational procedures to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Requirements
Must have previous experience working in hospitality
Must be familiar with health and safety regulations set out by local authorities
Must be able to solve problems on-the-go
Must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment
Must be fluent in English, Arabic would be a plus
Must be able to compile and report the relevant statistical data
