We are seeking a skilled Test and Measuring Instruments Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining test systems and instruments used in the manufacturing or research and development (R&D) processes. This role requires expertise in instrument calibration, data analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing test systems and measuring instruments to meet project requirements.
• Conducting feasibility studies, analyzing technical requirements, and proposing solutions for test and measurement challenges.
• Programming and configuring automated test equipment (ATE), data acquisition systems, and instrumentation control software.
• Performing instrument calibration, verification, and validation activities according to industry standards and specifications.
• Analyzing test data, generating reports, and providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure test system integration and functionality.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to test systems and measuring instruments.
• Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test and measurement engineering.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test and measuring instruments engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++ for test automation and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.
• Experience with ATE platforms, signal processing, and sensor technologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., IEEE, IEC, ISO) related to test and measurement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
