The Territory Sales Representative is the catalyst behind Genesys' success as an organization. As a consultative sales professional, you are responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in new business from new logo prospects and existing customers.
In this key role, you help solve the business needs of prospects and customers by aligning those needs and objectives with Genesys solutions. You will collaborate within the Benelux sales team to manage all opportunities and customers and are responsible for coordinating resources and managing the sales campaigns across the entire sales funnel.
Genesys' go-to-market strategy is highly partner-centric, which means that most of your sales cycles are run together with our global and local partners. Next to running sales cycles, you must be able to initiate lead-generating campaigns to create a healthy sales funnel supported by our Marketing team and Business Development Representatives. As a Territory Sales Representative, you fulfill a vital role of leveraging leads provided by Marketing and developing new opportunities on your own and by your partners, handling all different kinds of sales scenarios, and ultimately closing opportunities provided to them.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners, peers, and many other Genesys colleagues around ways to continually improve our sales capabilities• Cloud enterprise software or CX industry experience
• Identify customer needs and effectively understand and respond to customer objections
• Connect client's business objectives with Genesys offerings and solutions
• Negotiate and close as many (in)direct sales cycles as possible
• Guide customer and prospect corporate strategic initiatives
• Effectively sell a broad portfolio of products across a pre-defined range of industries
• Assist our partners and customers in maximizing the return of their investment with Genesys
• Be proactive in all aspects of opportunity development
• Build and expand relationships within prospect and customer accounts
• Establish yourself as a 'Trusted Advisor' to the prospect or customer
• Bring net new and innovative ideas to both the internal team and the customer
• Assist in creating an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence (i.e. strong business acumen)
• Partner with sales and additional pre-sales engagement members to align goals and ensure ongoing refinement
Minimum Requirements:• +2 years previous business-to-business SaaS and Cloud Sales experience with a documented track record of success as a Territory Sales Representative in a new business role
• Experienced in being part of numerous complex and consultative sales engagements, being proactive in leveraging the market potential in finding new opportunities
• Can-do attitude
• Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch as well as English
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
• Highly resourceful when need to overcome barriers and objections
• Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
• Ability to communicate with all levels within the partner/customer/prospect's organization
