Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Tendering Manager

with a strong background in

electrical transmission projects, cable laying.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process, from pre-qualification to bid submission, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals for high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Tendering & Bid Management:

Lead

end-to-end tender preparation

for EHV transmission, substations, and underground cable projects. Ensure compliance with

TRANSCO, DEWA, ADDC, and SEWA

regulations.

Cost Estimation & BOQ Analysis:

Develop

detailed cost breakdowns, pricing models, and risk assessments

for EPC bids, including

cable trenching, HDD, GIS/AIS switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.

Technical & Compliance Review:

Evaluate tender documents, perform

load flow analysis, fault current studies, and route optimization.

Ensure adherence to

FIDIC contracts, ISO, and HSE standards.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

Coordinate with

utility authorities, OEMs, consultants, and subcontractors

for approvals and procurement strategies.

Bid Optimization & Execution Strategy:

Drive competitive pricing,

value engineering, and contract negotiations

to maximize bid success.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

with

12+ years

in tendering for

EHV transmission and substation projects.

Expertise in

CCS Candy, ETAP, PLS-CADD, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of

cable sizing, insulation coordination, earthing, FACTS, and HVDC transmission.

Proven track record in securing major utility tenders in the UAE.
