Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Takes an active part in the strict implementation and monitoring of HACCP, HALAL, SOP, Sanitation and Pest Control Programs.
• Conducts pre-start up checking of product, production lines and facilities for food safety standards and determine any methods to resolve issues that arise and ensures that all quality concerns are addressed before commencement of any production activity.
• Inspect all daily production lines for quality compliance, accurate labeling and product maintenance.
• Collects and monitors product sample retention for shelf life and other relevant testing, as well as maintains records of all laboratory tests conducted.

Supports traceability exercises and mock recall activities.

• Organize and maintain records of all tests and inspections that have been conducted.
• Summarizes and analyses production data which is related to quality issue and prepares reports as required and for use by the management.•(see attached file for report reference•)
• Ensure that all production record is updated.
• Investigating customer complaints and preparing reports on food quality to relay to senior management.
• Prepares Corrective Action Report and conducts Root Cause Analysis for all deviations from established and documented standards and procedures encountered during the assigned shift.
• Assists in ensuring conformance to commissary audits and inspections conducted by clients and regulatory agencies.

Monitors the implementation of corrections and corrective actions for non-conformities raised during plant audits and inspections conducted by clients and regulatory agencies.

Participates in the HACCP development, implementation and review as a Food Safety Team Member.

• Prepare various reports on food quality and production standards to relay to upper level managers and owners as required.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior or as required by management.

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
