Objectives of this role
• Meet weekly/monthly sales targets by developing a marketing strategy as a telesales executive
• Gain a deep understanding of the company's services and find gaps in the customer's lives wherein the company's services fit
• Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers by honing the telesales executive skills such as listening, empathy and problem-solving
• Comply with the rules and regulations of the company by providing customer support as a telemarketing executive
Responsibilities
• Convert leads for the company through telephonic conversations
• Maintain and monitor the records of all the conversations, be it customer feedback, purchase orders or queries
• Stick to the sales script and strategy, but also improvise it when needed, within the scope of the telesales executive job role
• Update customers about new launches and record customer reactions to new products
• Be aware of the latest industry trends as a telesales executive
• Liaise with the concerned department regarding customer queries and complaints
Required skills and qualifications
• High school diploma
• Prior experience working as a telesales executive or in a similar role
• Fluency in English
• Adept knowledge of working with MS Office
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred skills and qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a similar discipline
• Proven record of meeting sales targets
• Outstanding negotiation and time management skills
