Job Description

A techno-functional analyst for Smart Grid solutions including Smart meters, fiel network communication, head-end systems, MDM & other Smart Grid projects and operations. Responsible for Smart Grid applications administration, integration with other applications, Smart Grid -AMI business process consulting and improvement, solution delivery and support for business continuity along with consulting for field level communication and business operations. : Work as a techno-functional analyst for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Meter Data Management System (MDM), Meter Head-End Systems (HES) & other Smart Grid related software/communication projects. Act as central point of contact for any policy & security adherence requirements to the AMI & MDM applications. Conducting meetings with business to understand challenges and suggesting solutions to improve existing business processes. Optimizing existing business process to enhance the utilization of implemented solutions. Providing support and troubleshooting any issues pertaining to AMI Applications and integrations. Supporting the integration of AMI system with other enterprise and smart grid applications Preparation of Business requirement documents and ensuring delivery of the solutions through vendors. Involved in project management and related activities for internal projects and acting central point of contact for vendors for external projects. Act as central point of contact for external projects for requirement Gathering and reviewing documents for current Business Process and proposed TO-BE business process. Involving in design of new product implementations to maximum utilization of offered functionalities Prepare test documents and test plan. Prepare user-training documents and providing training to core business users. Prepare solution design document for internal projects Preparing requirements for technical development resources for customization of AMI/MDM application. Conducting UAT for internal projects. Performing UAT for external projects with business users. Preparing demos for exhibitions and attending counter to demonstrate the same to visitors. Involved in tendering and evaluation process for smart grid applications by providing and validating business and technical requirements and evaluating vendor responses

Core Competencies: Work Commitment Engagement & Teamwork Business & Tech Excellence Stakeholder Orientated Taking Initiative Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Sciences Minimum 6 years' experience of working with Smart grid / AMI Applications with proven record of working on Smart Metering / Smart Grid projects Preferred to have experience with Utility IQ, Itron HES, Energy IP MDM and Analytics systems

Preferred to have understanding of Arabic Language
