Job Summary:

Responsible in conducting maintenance check and repairs for air-con and other cooling or heating system.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

2. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

3. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for AC systems.

4. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

5. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

6. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.

7. Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

8. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

9. Should inspect the tools utilized and where necessitated inform the line supervisor on the replacement of a tool to avoid any damage to the material or to a person.

10. Safety must always be given priority when carrying out the installation/ Repairs and at all times necessary precautions must be taken as per the Company/ Local legislations.

Knowledge:

-Must have wide knowledge and skills in repairing different kinds of Air-Cons and Cooling, heating systems

-Must have knowledge in trouble shooting and ability to detect damages and malfunctions

-Know how to change spare parts

Skills:

-Must have an ability to read and comprehend instructions including safety policies and procedure manuals.

-Aware on the tools and equipment required to carry out this job

-Must have a valid UAE driving license

Experience:

-Minimum 2 years' experience as a A/C Technician

Working conditions:

-Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 25 kls. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.

-Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.

-Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
