Technician – Painter / Polisher

Job Description
JOB SUMMARYMain Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carry out skilled Painting and polishing as directed. He may be called upon to perform any other duties as instructed by his superiors
- Carry out repairs and maintenance and installation work as directed which reflect the standard of Hotel
- Organize work in a skilled and professional manner
- Select the correct materials from the Engineering store
- Advise Supervisor/Team leader promptly of any problems
- Ensure safe working conditions for yourself and colleagues
- Ensure that work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition
- Work on own initiative without full supervision or direction
- Ensure that the par level stock is maintained for the fast moving items related to your trade, in the stores
- Be familiar and comply with all relevant Engineering Departmental Policies, Process and Procedures
- Knowledge of Building Management System
- Knowledge of basics of engineering drawing
- High School Diploma
- Any other technical qualifications with High School Diploma
- Basics of Building Management System
- Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Painting and polishing experience
- Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Hotel industry
- Knowledge of painting and polishing
- Good all round skills / high standard
- Identification of paints and lacquers
- Enable to work with multicultural team
- Good command in English (spoken and written)
