Technician - Kitchen & LaundryEngineering Department, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu DhabiWe have a great opportunity for an experienced Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join the team in our Engineering Department. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of Engineering professionals.What are we looking for?

• Working experience in Engineering Department in a hotel
• Previous experience in operation and maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical equipment in Commercial Kitchen/Laundry
• Ability to trouble shoot and maintain commercial Kitchen/Laundry equipment and related installations in the Hotel
• High school diploma or GED and/or an associate's degree supplemented by specialized training in the electrical trades Coordinate with contractors for more extensive repairs when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty appliances.
• Be available for emergency repairs and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues.
• Provide regular updates on the condition of the property.
• Lives and breathes the Shangri-La values.

What will you do?

• Servicing, Repairing, Installing and Maintaining all the equipment utilized in the hotel kitchen in good working condition.
• Checks and performs preventive maintenance and general repair on kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Follow up on daily records, maintenance schedules and assisting the superior on implementing of optimum staff planning and control
• Assure implemented policies, standards and procedure for energy conservation and control measures are applied
• Troubleshooting, Repair and preventive maintenance of: Laundry machines and Kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
