Title: Technician 1 - Construction (UAE National)

Scope of Responsibilities

Undertakes the discipline specific duties during the construction of permanent plant and equipment.

Primary Duties

Undertake repairs, maintenance, installation, service and new works as a member of a team. Perform works on a day to day basis in accordance with scheduled work programmes prepared by or in conjunction with supervisor. Give instruction, guidance, assistance and where required support to tradespersons, labourers and apprentices others in team in the performance of their duties. Contribute to maximising work load and wok programme turnaround and work teams productivity through effective planning and organisation of manpower, materials, plant and other identified resources required, e.g., specialized equipment. Contribute to minimising unnecessary non-productive time through effective liaison with clients/customers, suppliers and others so as to complete works in accordance with anticipated timings to meet client/customer expectations. Contribute to ensuring that all works are carried out to meet client/customer standards, good practice, and where appropriate standards governed by regulation or other directive. * Carryout other related tasks as advised by the supervisor.
