The Technical Trainer, will develop, coordinate, and deliver training to Nabors personnel in support of the company's competency program and business objectives. This position will include travel as required.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience
• Proven interpersonal skills; ability to work productively and professionally with any level of business resources.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business and/or technical concepts to all levels of the organization and to customers
• Demonstrated ability to engage and effectively interact with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent multi-tasking, organization, time-management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively develop course curriculum and deliver training courses.
• Strong Project Management skills: managing project plans, milestones, tasks, etc.
• Willing and able to travel to domestic and international locations as required
• Willing and able to work hours necessary to meet deadlines and respond to emergency demands
• Dependable and adaptable to change
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Field Support
• Experience with oilfield service companies
Experience as a teacher, trainer or mentor

• Bachelor's Degree (Organizational Development, Training & Development, Adult Learning, Education, Human Resources, Business Management, or Business Administration will be top considerations) or equivalent work experience
• 1 to 3 years' experience working within Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Training & Development
• Business Skills training experience

• Lifting/carrying up to 50lbs on occasion, 5 to 10 pounds frequently
• Sitting for long periods of time using office equipment for example, Computers, Printers, Laminators, etc.
Moving tables and chairs to set up workshop layout on occasion

Field Support
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and talk and listen.
• The employee is required frequently to use hands and digits to handle or feel work material and type.
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk short distances, sometimes over uneven terrain.
• Lifting/carrying up to 50lbs occasionally, 20lbs frequently, and 5 to 10lbs daily.
• Must be able to use/wear applicable personal protective equipment which may include but is not limited to safety-toed footwear (with ankle height support), back support belt, hearing protection, and safety eyewear with side shields, gloves and hard hat.
• May occasionally be required to wear approved/applicable respiratory protection equipment (respiratory protection guidelines would apply with regard to medical evaluation and fit testing of equipment).
• Frequent assent/decent of stairs/steps, especially at field locations. Must be able to respond quickly to an emergency situation.
• Employee may be exposed to moderate noise levels; however, field locations may be a high level whereby appropriate hearing protection may be required.
• Building AC/Heating systems are a typical "closed loop" system. Field locations may range in temperature of below zero (0) to above one hundred (100) degrees, depending upon time of year, with varying levels of humidity.
• Field locations maybe dusty, wet or muddy depending upon weather conditions.
• Deliver training designed to improve the knowledge & skills of employees in conjunction with defined competencies and learning objectives
• Develop curriculums, agendas, materials, and assessments for training courses
• Identify learning and development needs and provide effective training solutions
• Assist in the development and testing of online and web-based training
• Work with Training Coordinators, Training Administrators, and Administration Assistants on the production and delivery of training materials in a timely manner
• Work with Training Coordinators, Training Administrators, and Administration Assistants to develop and communicate training schedules
• Have a willingness to learn subjects outside the core field of expertise and be able to deliver basic training in a variety of subjects as required
• Insure at all times the health and safety of all employees attending training courses
• Perform all post-course follow-up as required
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
