Job Overview: The Technical Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising pest control technicians, overseeing technical operations, and ensuring the effective implementation of pest management strategies to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards within the company and at client's place.
Responsibilities: . Provide direction, and supervision to a team of pest control technicians, including training, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery. . Assign work tasks, monitoring performance and productivity levels to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in pest control operations. . Oversee all technical aspects of pest management operations, including the identification, assessment, and treatment of pest infestations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and safety protocols. . Conduct regular inspections of client sites to assess pest activity, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and identify potential pest control challenges or opportunities for improvement. . Develop operating procedures as and when required based on site requirement and implementation. . Conduct audits and inspections of work performed by pest control technicians, providing feedback, corrective actions, and on-the-job training as needed to maintain service quality and consistency. . Ensure that pest control operations comply with standard operating procedures and implemented. . Should be a point of contact for clients regarding technical inquiries, service recommendations, and pest control solutions, encouraging positive relationships and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. . Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to identify client needs, provide technical expertise during sales consultations, and develop customized pest management plans tailored to client requirements. . Develop and deliver training programs for pest control technicians on industry best practices, new technologies, and safety protocols to enhance technical skills, knowledge, and performance. . Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities and certifications for technicians to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with evolving industry standards.
Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree in agriculture, biology, environmental science, or related field preferred. . Proven experience in pest control operations, including demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience. . Strong technical knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and control methods, with proficiency in using pest management tools, equipment, and technologies. . Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, interact with clients, and collaborate with internal stakeholders. . Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to pest control, pesticide application, and environmental health and safety. . Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines. . Proficient computer skills, including experience with pest management software and Microsoft Office Suite. . Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
