Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Supervisor to oversee the execution of the Matrix Finishes Project, including the installation of screens, display boxes, and other fit outs or interior jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractors, conducting competition analysis, training the technical team, and addressing quality issues. Additionally, the Technical Supervisor will support technical sales, perform site visits, and manage maintenance and refurbishment tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Execution of Matrix Finishes Project:

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Matrix Finishes Project.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Oversee the installation of screens, display boxes, and other fit outs or interior jobs.
• Sub-contractor Management:

Identify and engage suitable subcontractors for various installation tasks.

Manage subcontractor performance to ensure quality and timeliness of work.

• Technical Training and Best Practices:

Train technical team members on installation procedures and best practices.

Ensure the team adheres to safety and quality standards during installations.

• Quality Assurance:

Address and resolve quality issues and complaints from clients.

Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

• Maintenance and Rectification:

Oversee the maintenance and rectification of installed products.

Manage in-house refurbishment and renovation requirements.

• Technical Sales Support:

Provide technical product presentations and client support during installations.

Assist clients with technical issues and ensure satisfactory resolution.

• Site Visits and Analysis:

Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and progress.

Perform thorough examinations and provide detailed analysis of site conditions.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Logistics Support:

Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading of materials.

Manage the transport of staff and materials as required for site or work needs.

• Team Leadership:

Lead and manage technical and maintenance staff.

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with a focus on digital materials and LED lighting.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols.

Proficiency in conducting market research and analysis.

Ability to analyze competitors and market trends.

Experience in project management and delivery support.

Basic knowledge of software development and troubleshooting.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical are preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
