Technical Superintendent
Job Description
• Ensure vessels operate with minimum down-time and maximum utilization
• Troubleshooting of engines/machinery defect and repair
• Technical Follow-up and Maintenance
• Daily technical follow-up of the ships assigned
• Check and adjust the weekly/monthly work list, in consultation with the captain/chief engineer and Technical Manager
• Follow up the technical performances of the ships by means of communication, reports and visits on board, in order to optimize the maintenance level
• Prepare repair specifications for subcontractors and follow-ups their execution
• Daily technical follow up of auxiliary equipment in collaboration with Technical Manager
• Evaluate technical shortcomings or wear and tear of the ship and make suggestions for improvement in consultation with the Captain, the Chief Engineer, and Technical Manager
• MARINE SHIPPING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
