FAAC Technologies, world leader in access automation, parking systems and access control, counting on 53 sales companies in 29 countries, across 5 continents, more than 3.700 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants is looking for a Technical Service Specialist that will be part of our company based in Dubai.The identified candidate will provide technical support and after-sales assistance, as a key responsibility of this role. This includes offering assistance to customers, distributors, and FAAC Middle East commercial teams. The role requires identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues through phone, email, or onsite visits.Collaboration with the sales team is essential to ensure they are informed about customer-reported issues and the progress of their resolution.Another important aspect of the role is conducting technical training sessions. These sessions aim to equip customers, distributors, and internal teams with the necessary product knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities.Responsabilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for the distribution business, managing after-sales service requests via email and phone.
Provide technical support to local and international clients, including pre-sales assistance with compliance and technical specifications.
Offer remote and onsite support for product and installation issues.
Coordinate and schedule technical team activities, including onsite visits and training sessions.
Manage service tickets in our web-based CRM, from creation to resolution.
Assist in Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) by coordinating approvals, scheduling PPM activities, and ensuring smooth execution of maintenance tasks.
Deliver technical training to customers in the Middle East region and ensure knowledge transfer.
Liaise with HQ on product-related inquiries and report recurring faults for continuous improvement.
Oversee warranty management and RMA procedures for supplied products.
Follow up on older installations to verify maintenance status and product performance.
Support the technical team in preparing reports and technical documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the automation or construction industry.
Experience in troubleshooting.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and reporting skills (both written and verbal).
Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and strong interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of, Excel, and PowerPoint; AutoCad is a plus
Strong leadership and task management skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
