Technical Sales Manager (FCC)Department: Refining TechnologiesJOB FUNCTIONProactively manage assigned customer accounts to deliver the sales targets for the territory for FCC business. Develop and manage account strategies, in line with company\'s objectives. Respond to and service customer technical requirements and provide the needed assistance. Liaise with internal functions and business leaders to address day-to-day business issues as they arise.RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Identify customer\'s technology requirements/needs and translate this into successful business opportunities\xc2\xb7 Establish strong relationships with key stake holders at customer site and use these to drive a successful sales process\xc2\xb7 Develops strategies to improve company\'s wealth position with each customer at the local level\xc2\xb7 Coordinate activities of the FCC business teams to fulfill the steps necessary to successfully win competitive tenders\xc2\xb7 Maintain customer satisfaction by coordinating the resources of Hydroprocessing /FCC to provide effective customer service\xc2\xb7 Make sure customers extract maximum value from the utilization of Hydroprocessing / FCC technologies\xc2\xb7 Track Refining Industry Market evolution in the Region and identify key business drivers influencing Hydroprocessing / FCC Sales and translate these into winning strategies\xc2\xb7 Design and keep updated detailed Customer Strategies, constituted by specific Customer Profiles and Target Accounts PlansDisciplined reporting and regular update of the Hydroprocessing / FCC Sales Management and CRM / SFDC System .\xc2\xb7 Provide innovative ideas to create new and modified products and services to serve our customers better\xc2\xb7 Providing input to the regional strategic direction for the business unit including specific objectives and metrics for growth and profitability\xc2\xb7 Provide timely reports to stakeholders on key activities including but not limited to customer site activity, forecasts, volumes, market trends and competitor activities\xc2\xb7 Work in close interaction with the Sales Directors on regional initiatives pertaining to the reliability improvements of the customers Hydroprocessing assets\xc2\xb7 Participate in the direction for product development, timetables and technical programs necessary to support existing product lines in your region in close interaction with global R & D strategy\xc2\xb7 Assists in departmental day-to-day tasks, projects and assignments as necessaryComplying with all internal and external safety regulations pertaining to environmental protection and occupational & traffic safety according to the Company EHS system and ensuring that the staff assigned to the executives receive up-to-date training; directly pointing out and stopping identified mistakes or wrong behavior.REQUIREMENTS\xc2\xb7 Graduate Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering. Advanced degree (MS or MBA) helpful but not required.\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the process industry, of which key experiences must include\xc2\xb7 Hydroprocessing & Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) operations/ Process Engineering role\xc2\xb7 Account Management/Sales experience\xc2\xb7 Written and spoken fluency in English. Speaking Arabic is a plus\xc2\xb7 Is proficient using of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Project\xc2\xb7 Self-starter\xc2\xb7 Ability to summarize, present and explain performance data in great detail, if required, based on sophisticated technical knowhow, especially around Hydroprocessing and FCC units.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of heterogeneous catalysis, alumina or zeolites\xc2\xb7 First professional experience with process engineering in a refinery on the FCC or other process areas\xc2\xb7 The position (based in UAE involves travel, primarily in Middle East and larger occasionally across EMEA region\xc2\xb7 Must be a team player, driven by pronounced customer-orientation and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environmentLOCATION: DUBAITagged as:
