Job Title: Sales EngineerPosition Overview: Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support to our customers, partners, and sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of Telecom product portfolio, especially its microwave networking solutions, and the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers. Responsibilities: - Act as a technical expert on Telecom product portfolio, particularly focusing on fixed wireless networking and security solutions. - Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities, providing technical solutions and product demonstrations as needed. - Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers and partners, showcasing the benefits and features of Aviat Networks\' solutions. - Assist in the development of sales strategies and proposals, providing technical input and recommendations. - Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and recommend the most appropriate solutions. - Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and technical assistance, to ensure customer satisfaction. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors to provide valuable insights to the sales team. - Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company solutions and establish relationships with potential customers. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Master\'s degree is a plus. - Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role, preferably in the telecommunications industry. - In-depth knowledge of microwave networking technologies, including point-to-point and point-to-multipoint solutions. - Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, LTE, and IP networking. - In-depth knowledge of fiber optic technologies, including OTDRs, fusion splicers, optical power meters, and testing methodologies. - Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment. - in depth knowledge of high-quality fiber optic test and measurement equipment, specializing in Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR), power splicing machines, and other telecom equipment. Our innovative products are used by telecommunications companies, fiber optic installers, and network maintenance professionals worldwide. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites, trade shows, and other events.
