Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industries like aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and consumer products.
Generate leads, conduct market research, and develop sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, demos, and proposals for prospective clients.
Technical Consultation:
Understand clients' manufacturing challenges and recommend suitable 3D printing technologies, materials, and software.
Assist clients in selecting printers, materials, and post-processing solutions to match their production needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions for complex client requirements.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Provide ongoing support and technical guidance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage post-sales follow-ups, gather feedback, and facilitate upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Training & Support:
Train clients on how to operate and maintain 3D printing systems.
Offer troubleshooting assistance and liaise with internal technical support teams when necessary.
Market Insights & Reporting:
Stay up-to-date with 3D printing trends, innovations, and competitive products.
Gather and analyze client feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials Science, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the additive manufacturing or industrial equipment space.
Strong understanding of 3D printing processes (FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS, etc.) and materials.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360) is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Familiarity with Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) principles.
Existing network within relevant industries (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, defense).
