Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant - Solar Energy and Battery Storage Solutions
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in Solar and Battery Storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical. background combined with exceptional sales skills, enabling them to effectively promote and sell our innovative energy solutions to a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and revenue goals.
• Identify and engage potential customers, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Customer Engagement:
• Present and demonstrate the technical aspects and benefits of our Solar and Battery Storage solutions to prospective clients.
• Provide technical consultation and support to customers throughout the sales process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Technical Expertise:
• Understand and articulate the technical specifications, performance, and benefits of our products.
• Assist customers with system design, configuration, and integration.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are successfully delivered.
Proposal and Contract Management:
• Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales agreements.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulations.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project status.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Sales Manager on sales performance and market insights.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering,
• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery storage technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
