Technical Publication Centre Coordinator will receive, control, update and distribute / publish the engineering and operational technical data to support the maintenance, continued airworthiness and safe operation of Emirates and third party customer aircraft to the highest quality standards in compliance with the company and regulatory requirements.In this role, you will:Control the receipt and distribution of technical documentation (in paper and digital format) using an electronic database system (TELSYS) and follow up with all holders for document receipt and acknowledgement.Update the cockpit library on Emirates aircraft with the current revisions of Engineering and Flight Operation documentation including digital data packages and to support the Flight training documentation distribution and update requirements including simulators.Co-ordinate with aircraft manufacturers, vendors and Emirates internal departments (for the receipt of latest revision publications and notify them of any document content discrepancies or distribution issues for corrective action.Prepare and publish Airbus and Boeing aircraft maintenance documentation consultation database and job card database using the Document Management System - DMS (e.g. eDOC) and SGML, XML or PDF manufacturer data.Receive service documents (e.g. Service Bulletin, Service Information Letters, and Operator Information Transmissions) and raise electronic Technical Document Review workflow and upload in database repository as required. In addition receive Airworthiness Directives from Regulatory Bodies and raise them on Airworthiness Directives evaluation system.Perform functional testing of digital documentation applications and coordinate with IT, Engineering Systems, Flight Operations and vendor for documentation application promotes.Publish the current manufacturer, vendor and in-house digital documentation on the company web- portal, network and back-up PCs/Laptops/Tablets in a timely manner and notify all the users accordingly. To distribute technical publications on physical media to Engineering Outstations offices and other locations as required.To ensure that all vendor Component Maintenance Manuals and other technical publications are up to date and support the improvement of digital documentation by constant communication with vendors and users.Maintain all third party documents at the current revision in line maintenance library and co-ordinate with the third-party airlines in case of any discrepancy in the documentation status.Respond to daily user queries related to maintenance and operational documentation distributed/published by Technical Publications Centre.To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:12 Years schooling or equivalent.4 yrs+ experience in EngineeringExperience in a technical publication department, preferably in an airline environment or aircraft maintenance and repair organisationAdvanced Microsoft Office - Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePointBasic knowledge of XML, SGML (structured technical documents)Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and flight operation documentation and documentation management systemsUAE driving license required Join us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotels stays around the world.
