Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful implementation of network firewall and email security solutions. This is a semi-technical position that requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Execution:
• Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate all project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing status reports.
• Ensure timely completion of all project deliverables.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
• Technical Coordination:
• Collaborate with internal IT teams (e.g., network engineers, security analysts) and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Gather and document technical requirements and specifications.
• Assist in the testing and deployment of network firewall and email security solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users during and after implementation.
• Communication & Documentation:
• Maintain clear and concise project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports.
• Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Administrative Support:
• Manage project budgets and track expenses.
• Provide general administrative support to the project team.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a related role.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, routing).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threat vectors, security best practices).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
