Role Overview



As a Technical Pre-Sales Manager at Uqudo, your main role and tasks will involve diving deep into understanding our customers' ID verification (IDV), Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know your Business (KYB) needs, proposing innovative solutions to address their specific requirements. You will showcase the power of our technology through engaging demonstrations and oversee successful pilots and trials to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborating closely with our Sales Team, you will craft compelling proposals that align perfectly with customer requirements. Your ability to stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning and adapting to the evolving landscape of Uqudo and competitor technologies will be crucial in delivering the best solutions to our customers. Additionally, you will cultivate meaningful relationships with technical stakeholders across various roles, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, with the ability to both deeply understand technical integration requirements and effectively communicate solutions to enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities



Understanding Customer Needs and Demonstrating Solutions:

Engage with enterprise customers to understand their technical and business requirements, ensuring alignment with uqudo's identity verification and digital onboarding solutions. Act as a technical advisor, demonstrating how uqudo's SDKs and APIs integrate into customer environments, including web and mobile applications. Effectively communicate the value of uqudo's platform by balancing technical depth with business relevance, ensuring customers grasp both the capabilities and commercial impact of our solutions. Deliver effective technical demonstration of uqudo solutions.
Managing Pilots and Proof of Concept Initiatives:

Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot implementations, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with customer requirements. Troubleshoot integration challenges and support customers in adopting SDKs, APIs, and security best practices. Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams based on PoC learnings, ensuring that products align with real-world use cases.
Crafting Compelling Proposals and Collaborating with Sales:

Create technical proposals that clearly articulate how uqudo products address specific customer challenges. Work closely with sales teams and account managers to develop commercially viable solutions, ensuring technical feasibility while considering business constraints. Act as a liaison between engineering and commercial teams, translating priorities between customer-facing teams and the product development roadmap.
Continuous Learning, Adaptation, and Relationship Building:

Stay up to date with industry trends in identity verification and KYC ensuring that uqudo remains at the forefront of innovation. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring that their evolving needs are consistently addressed. Adapt to feedback from both internal teams and external customers, ensuring continuous improvement in solutioning and sales support strategies. Maintain a deep understanding of third-party solutions and professional services that complement uqudo's offerings, ensuring a holistic approach to solutioning.
Bridging Engineering and Commercial Teams:

Serve as the critical link between engineering, product, and sales teams, ensuring that technical priorities and business goals remain aligned. Advocate for both customer requirements and product scalability, ensuring that new features, customizations, and integrations are implemented effectively within uqudo's platform.

Skills and Experience



In addition to strong technical expertise, this role requires a high level of business acumen. The ideal candidate must be able to engage professionally with customers, understanding how to navigate commercial discussions and contribute to making deals happen. They must also possess a strong understanding of InfoSec, identity verification, KYC and digital onboarding, ensuring that security and compliance considerations are always accounted for. The ability to be flexible and adaptable when responding to evolving customer requirements is essential for success in this role. Strong technical background in software development, integration, or pre-sales engineering. Hands-on experience with SDKs, APIs, and software integration workflows. Ability to design and propose technical architectures for enterprise customers. Experience working with enterprise customers, understanding their challenges, and tailoring solutions accordingly. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Strong problem-solving skills, especially in architecting solutions that combine out-of-the-box products with customization and third-party integrations. Experience with cloud platforms, security protocols, and enterprise IT environments is a plus. Bachelor's Degree in any STEM subject or Equivalent Practical Experience.
