The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the design, technical coordination, and engineering requirements to ensure project success. This role requires a deep understanding of high-rise construction methodologies, building systems, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: o Provide technical leadership and direction for high-rise construction projects. o Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. o Resolve complex technical issues during the construction phase. o Collaborate with architects, consultants, and structural, MEP, and civil engineers to ensure designs are integrated and constructible. o Coordinate with design teams to address discrepancies and propose practical solutions. o Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs (Requests for Information). o Assist in project planning by providing technical input on construction methods, materials, and timelines. o Develop and implement technical strategies to optimize project delivery. o Monitor progress to ensure technical deliverables align with project milestones. o Ensure all construction activities comply with technical specifications, standards, and regulations. o Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality of work and address any deviations. o Support the project team in implementing quality control measures. o Lead and mentor the technical and engineering teams. o Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. o Provide technical training to staff and subcontractors as needed. o Support procurement teams in selecting appropriate materials and systems. o Ensure technical solutions are cost-effective without compromising quality or safety. o Review and approve technical aspects of contracts and change orders. o Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations. o Liaise with regulatory authorities and consultants for necessary approvals and inspections. o Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and presentations for senior management and clients. o Maintain accurate records of technical documents, designs, and approvals.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in a technical role within the construction industry, with at least 8 years in high-rise projects.
Strong knowledge of high-rise construction methods, systems, and materials.
Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE).
