Job Description

AFI is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible to ensures project designs, plans, and construction activities meet quality standards, adhere to budgets, and comply with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design:

Review and approve architectural, structural, and MEP designs.

Ensure designs are optimized for functionality, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.

Coordinate with consultants and contractors during the design phase.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance to project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.

Oversee design development, feasibility studies, and technical documentation.

Resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Construction Oversight:

Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, safety, and progress.

Address technical challenges and provide actionable recommendations.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure all project activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Stay updated on changes in regulations and incorporate them into project designs and execution.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Act as the primary technical contact for clients, contractors, and consultants.

Collaborate with project director and design engineers to align technical deliverables with project timelines and budgets

Cost & Resource Management:

Optimize material selection and construction methods to balance quality and cost.

Manage technical budgets and track resource allocation.

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and cost analysis for stakeholders.

Team Development:

Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Foster a collaborative and problem-solving culture within the technical team.

Requirements
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Proven experience in managing technical aspects of projects.

Strong understanding of design processes, construction techniques, and building codes.

Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Key Competencies:
