Job Overview: The Technical Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the technical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and solving complex technical problems to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

- Develop and review technical project plans and specifications.

- Coordinate with engineers, project manager and other project team members to ensure project requirements are met.

- Oversee and review design and construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Technical Oversight:

- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the construction process.

- Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess project quality and compliance.

- Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship.

Project Management:

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and within-budget completion.

- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

- Master's degree in Construction Management is a plus.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a technical management role within the construction industry.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects and teams.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
