Job Summary

:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical work, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and testing of garage equipment. They must have excellent hydraulic and pneumatic work skills, and be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Install and commission garage equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical wiring.

Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during installation / maintenance / operations.

Conduct testing on equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used.

Collaborate with other team members, including sales and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new equipment and technologies.

Any ad hoc duties that arise / part of the department or assigned by the superiors

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical Fitter in the garage equipment industry

Excellent electrical and mechanical skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.

Strong hydraulic and pneumatic skills.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education and Training:

High school diploma or ITI or equivalent with vocational or technical education in mechanical or electrical systems is required.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Certification in hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.

Must be able to work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
