Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Technical Engineer (Electrical) to join our construction team. The Technical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that electrical designs, installations, and technical specifications align with project requirements, codes, and quality standards. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with various project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Review electrical designs, technical specifications, and construction plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project and site teams, addressing electrical-related issues throughout the planning and construction phases.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and mechanical and civil engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct quality checks on electrical systems, including testing and inspection of components, materials, and installations, to confirm adherence to standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements as per project specifications.
• Participate in the selection and sourcing of materials and components, ensuring they meet project and quality standards.
• Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and verify that installations meet technical and safety requirements.
• Ensure that all electrical engineering documentation, including reports, inspection records, and technical submittals, is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Attend client and project meetings to provide technical insight and present progress on electrical engineering aspects.
• Keep up with industry advancements and evolving standards in electrical engineering and integrate best practices into projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within high-rise building or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
