Technical Engineer Civil Must Have 8+ years of experience with MAIN CONTRACTOR on high-rise building construction in UAE. Bachelors degree in Civil or Architecture. Responsibilities
- Prepare workshop drawings for the construction team from time to time to better understand the project requirements and submissions.
- Prepare submittals of shop drawings, materials, pre-qualification documents, RFIs, and other technical reports related to construction, providing technical features for related aspects of the work.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to resolve differences on technical matters and discrepancies.
- Coordinate activities between various trades such as Structural, Architectural, Interior Design, MEP, etc.
- Plan and prioritize work assignments for drafting tasks.
- Assist project management with cost control.
- Assist the client and engineer with material/sample approvals as per project requirements.
- Review the scope of work and responsibility matrix for all subcontractors upon contract finalization.
- Prepare design concepts for the client and the engineer for any design changes.
- Assist the planning department with the BLP in terms of work sequence and engineering tasks.
- Monitor all subcontractors to ensure engineering work submissions are as per project BLP.
- Assist project management with work strategy and construction methodology.
- Visit the site periodically to ensure construction work is proceeding as per approved documents.
- Assist the QA/QC department with method statement preparation and submission.
- Prepare and submit all types of project handover documents, including as-built drawings.
- Prepare mobilization plans, including site facilities layout and maneuvering plans.
- Review and check rebar shop drawings along with BBS.
