•QUANTITY SURVEYOR - JOB DESCRIPTION •

•JOB ROLE •
Working across our business divisions including Facility Management, Interior Fitouts, Aluminium & Glass, Carpentry and General Construction services you will be responsible for preparing proposals.

•JOB DESCRIPTION •
•Bid Management: • Ownership of tenders, liaising with required internal and external parties to ensure the timely submission of competitive winning bids

•Inspection: • In coordination with respective divisional incharge, conduct site visits, take measurements, information gathering from clients to prepare accurate BOQ.

•Estimation: • Preparing accurate bill of quantities and creating proposals with material cost, mandays and other cost elements involved with required markup as per industry standards.

•Integration with Operational delivery teams •: Involving the allocated divisional incharge with your estimate through evaluation, submission and then handing over to ensure that the incharge has bought into the pricing and methodology used, so as to achieve or improve on the margin the project was bid on.

•Others: •

- Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications for projects

- Conduct quantity take-offs from the drawings and prepare proposals

- Communicate with vendors and perform research to find prices of materials.

- Issue RFI (Request for Information) to clients.

- Prepare and send out ITB (Invitation to bid) to vendors and subcontractors

•EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION •

- Minimum of 2 years QS experience gained in Civil and interior fitout industry

- Btech or Diploma in Civil Engineering with a certification in QS

- Strong communication skills, written and verbal in English and preferably in Hindi, Arabic as well

- Proficiency in relevant computer software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, word and outlook)

- Ability to build relationships both internally and externally

- A valid UAE driving licence will be annadded advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
