Leading Group of Companies based in Abu Dhabi, UAE URGENTLY requires

Technical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Applying for NOCs on the No Objection Certificate Program.

Applying for inspections & drawings approvals on TAMM, Smart Hub, UAE Hub.

Collection and submission of all authorities required documents for BCC inspections.

Following up & obtaining of the building completion certificate.

Review of assigned project documents (scope of work, drawings, specifications, vendor list, bill of quantities, program, etc.).

Secure the entire consultant's pre-approvals like shop drawings, coordination drawings, method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, samples, subcontractors prequalification's, and materials approvals to avoid any activity delay.

Preparation of the coordination drawings for architectural, concrete structural, steel structure, precast structure & MEP drawings prior to commencement of the works.

Coordinate between architectural layouts, elevations, sections, schedules, BOQ and structural drawings, then identify the conflicts/disputes/clashes/mismatching and report it to the technical manager.

Assisting & supervising the draftsman for shop drawings and as built drawings.

Prepare the inquiry package for the procurement team.

Review the quotations and make technical and commercial comparison sheets for each item.

Experience in concrete, steel, and precast structures.

Experience in landscape works (soft and hard scape).

Aware of authorities' requirements (Estidama, ADDC, ADSSC, ADM, ADMCC, Etisalat, Du, ADCD etc.).

Attending all site internal coordination and progress meetings.

Liaise between client, consultant, project management, contractors, and site engineers to resolve problems and various construction difficulties may arise.

Qualification & Skills:

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Architect)

Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in a similar position in construction companies in UAE.

Fluent in English both written and verbal.

Excellent computer skills.
