Multi-Disciplinary Draftsman (Drainage, Water Supply, Electrical, Mechanical, and AC Systems)

About Us:

We are a Design Consultancy specializing in the design and development of Structural systems for Temporary structures for events. We are looking to expanding our services with Residential and Commercial project approvals and our team needs a talented and motivated Multi-Disciplinary Draftsman to join our growing company.

Position Overview:

The Multi-Disciplinary Draftsman will work alongside engineers, designers, and other technical teams to create detailed design drawings for drainage, water supply, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various technical systems, with the ability to interpret and draft designs that ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Drafting: Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings for drainage, water supply, electrical, mechanical, and AC systems, including layouts, schematics, and isometric drawings.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to integrate designs across multiple disciplines and ensure the smooth development of system layouts.

Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to create comprehensive and coordinated design documents.

Code Compliance: Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.

System Integration: Assist in coordinating the integration of complex systems and identify potential conflicts during the drafting process.

Revisions & Updates: Revise and update design documents as necessary, ensuring that changes are accurately reflected in drawings.

Quality Assurance: Review design documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.

Site Visits (if required): Occasionally visit project sites to gain a better understanding of conditions for accurate drafting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of drafting experience in at least two or more of the following disciplines: drainage, water supply, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs. Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, system specifications, and relevant standards in drainage, water supply, electrical, mechanical, and AC systems.

Attention to Detail: Ability to produce highly accurate and clear design documentation.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify design issues and propose practical solutions.

Communication: Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: AutoCAD certification or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree on Electrical, Mechanical and related engineering fields.

Knowledge of Local Codes and Standards: Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to drainage, water supply, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED3,600.00 per month
