The Technical Director will lead the Engineering Simulation team at Fluid Codes, overseeing pre-sale, post-sale, and training activities related to Ansys products. This role involves strategic planning, project management, technical leadership, and team development to ensure exceptional support, successful sales engagements, and comprehensive training for clients. The ideal candidate will manage a large team including engineers and technical managers, ensuring the effective delivery of technical support and training while driving the success of pre-sales activities. This role also requires close collaboration with the marketing and sales teams to align technical efforts with business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a large team of simulation engineers specialized in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Electromagnetics and other Ansys products. Technical teams are spread across different countries in the Middle East region hence, ideal candidate should be able to structure and manage some of the teams remotely in efficient manner.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the team's success and align with company goals as well as foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and create development plans to ensure team members' growth and high performance.
• Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and support to excel in their roles. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the provision of technical support, pre-sales and training activities, develop and implement processes to enhance the efficiency and quality that leads to high levels of customer satisfaction and conversion rate.
• Assisting and enabling the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand client requirements and propose suitable Ansys solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the technical capabilities and benefits of Ansys products. Also, ensure the team develops and delivers compelling technical presentations and demos to potential clients.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive training programs for clients on Ansys products and simulation methodologies. Ensure the creation and maintenance of high-quality training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
• Liaise with the marketing team to develop materials and campaigns that highlight the technical capabilities and benefits of Ansys products.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Minimum Qualifications, Requirements and Experience:

• Master's/Ph.D degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering simulation, with significant experience in either CFD or FEA using Ansys or similar tools.
• Proven experience in managing and leading large technical teams (>20 engineers) spread across different locations.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
