Tricom is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are focused on chemicals and ingredients which are targeted towards specialty Process Industries.

The role based at our facility in Dubai will fulfill the expansion requirements of our technical team. This role within a specialty chemicals manufacturing company requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach to drive continuous improvement in production processes while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsible for management and oversight of workers and supervisors across multiple shifts and to ensure all work is completed safely and per GMP requirements.

Generates and coordinates production related documentation and ensures related department records, specifications, batch records and SOPs are kept in compliance with Company's regulatory, health and safety and legal requirements.

Monitor production parameters and quality metrics to ensure adherence to strict quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and protocols for various production processes.

Periodically prepares and presents reports to the Management including action plans, production schedules, resource planning and tracking, meeting minutes.

Liaise with cross-functional teams to align production activities with company goals.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environment regulations, and company standards.

The incumbent shall be responsible for product, development activities involving blends and formulations related to water treatment, oil field, Lubricants, maintenance chemical applications.

Conducting Lab scale trials and scale up process.

Setting up quality and testing standards.

Demonstration and supervision of initial production batches.

Troubleshooting and rectification of products and processes to overcome quality issues and market feedback.

Research and identify new products and maintain a robust product development pipeline.

Education, Experience and Competencies Required:

• Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of proven experience within the specialty chemicals industry especially Water Treatment, lubricants, maintenance chemicals and Oilfield Chemicals
• Proven experience in the areas of product development & technology transformation.
• Working knowledge of GMP, ISO and other quality regulations and requirements strongly preferred. Validation experience a plus.
• Good understanding of the chemistry of input ingredients, their formulation and application methodology.
• Proven leadership and managerial skills with ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Strong communication, Computer and team building skills.
