: Technical Designer (Signage Experienced)

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Designer with a proven track record in the signage industry. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional with expertise in signage design, technical detailing, and production processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing innovative signage solutions, ensuring technical precision, and collaborating closely with clients and production teams. The candidate should have excellent leadership skills, demonstrated team-building skills, and be capable of working from multiple locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Create detailed and innovative signage designs that align with client requirements and brand guidelines.
• Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Incorporate materials, lighting, structural, and civil elements into designs for effective and durable signage solutions.

Technical Detailing

• Develop accurate technical specifications for fabrication and installation.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks on prototypes and final designs to ensure adherence to project specifications.

Client Collaboration

• Work directly with clients to understand their vision, goals, and project requirements.
• Present design concepts, revisions, and technical details in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert guidance on materials, techniques, and feasibility.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure smooth execution from design to installation.
• Monitor project timelines and address any design-related issues that arise during production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.

Material and Process Expertise

• Stay updated on the latest signage materials, fabrication techniques, and lighting technologies.
• Recommend the most suitable materials and processes to achieve optimal results.
• Optimize designs for cost efficiency and ease of production.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience :
• 5+ years of experience in signage design, with strong technical expertise.
• Hands-on experience in preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, or equivalent design software. Experience in Revit, Navisworks, Sketch Up, and SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of signage materials (e.g., acrylic, metals, vinyl, LED lighting) and fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of engineering principles related to signage structures.
• Soft Skills :
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
