Job Description

Technical Responsibilities:

Oversee the

design, engineering, and execution of steel structure projects

, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, industry standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with the

engineering team, production, and site teams

to ensure seamless project execution. Evaluate and approve

technical drawings, structural calculations, and design optimizations

. Provide

technical guidance and solutions

to resolve design and construction challenges. Ensure adherence to

steel fabrication and erection best practices

, including material selection, welding procedures, and structural integrity. Conduct

quality control inspections

and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Commercial Responsibilities:

Prepare and review

cost estimates, project budgets, and financial forecasts

. Analyze

market trends, competitor pricing, and cost-effective procurement strategies

. Maintain strong relationships with

clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

to enhance business opportunities. Negotiate and finalize

contracts, payment terms, and project deliverables

. Monitor

project profitability and financial performance

, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization. Collaborate with the finance team for

cash flow management and invoicing processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.

?

Minimum 8-12 years of experience

in steel construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
?

Strong knowledge of steel structure design, fabrication, and erection processes.

? Experience in

cost estimation, contracts, and commercial negotiations

within the steel industry.
? Familiarity with

UAE construction regulations, authorities, and standards (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, etc.).

?

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, Staad.Pro, and MS Office.

?

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

? Strong understanding of

FIDIC contracts and project risk management.

?

Fluent in English
