Technical Cleaners

For HIGH PRESSURE WASHING / CLEANING / PAINTING / SAND BLASTING

SYSTEMS (Oil And Gas Industry)

Scope of work

-The Chemicals inside this Equipment's area is highly toxic and contact with skin will cause severe rash -The cleaners must wear Chemical Suit and various PPE for their safety

-The Waste Material must then put into Barrels and make ready for disposal as per company Environmental policy

-Cleaning of Oily Water Separators. The Coalesces area removed sent to the Wash Bay and clears area use a minimum of 10,000 PSI high pressure

-Cleaning of Water Guns. The Technical Cleaner must be aware of the Safe Use of this Gun and if used incorrectly the dangers of being injected with water and the potentials of getting the water into the Blood Stream.

-High Pressure jetting on Exchanger in both the Gas Plant and MTBE Plant. Pressure in the lances used can reach up to 25,000. Note: Incorrect use could cause life threating injuries to the cleaners and others.

-Daily cleaning in and around high-speed Rotating Equipment. This include Compressor Buildings frame five Generator and MCC where high Control Center Voltage Equipment is live

-These are restricted areas where only skilled Technicians are permitted inside

-Clean up of any Hydrocarbon release that may occur. They are trained by EHS on the correct way of clean up and disposal

-Responsible for the general clean up after other Trades have completed their Job to keep the house keeping of the highest Standards in the Operating Facility. This means they are working around many Valves, Motors that are live.

-Any touching of Valves handles or pushing any Button on the Equipment potentially shut the facility down causing loss of production

-Cleaners required to pass all the Environmental Tests which they must pass before entering a live Production

All personnel operating and using pressure cleaning and spray systems

must ensure the following:

• Trained in the correct and safe use of the equipment.
• Know how to use and fully understand the specific personal protective

equipment.

• Understand the hazards and potential dangers of this equipment.
• Report any misuse or faulty equipment to the supervisor.
• Safety of others.

DANGERS AND HAZARDS

• Static Sparks - The high velocity flow of material through equipment may

develop static electricity.

• Ensure all equipment being used and the objects being cleaned or

sprayed are properly grounded.

INJECTION HAZARD

• High pressure fluids and materials propelled from sprays, wash guns and

blasting can penetrate the skin and cause extremely serious injuries,

including the need for amputation

Requirements

Experience List

(O&G industry experience preferred)

Safety certificates (ISO/OSHA)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Machines Cleaners: 3 years (Preferred)
• Oil and Gas: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• ISO/OSHA Certificates (Preferred)
