The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of local UAE experience and be willing to relocate to Dubai. Strong computer skills, reporting skills, and a proven track record in procurement within a similar industry are essential. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Implement and follow procurement strategies for technical goods and services required for plant construction, maintenance, and operation. \xc2\xb7 Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms and pricing. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to understand technical requirements and ensure timely procurement. \xc2\xb7 Manage the procurement process, including issuing requests for quotations (RFQs), evaluating bids, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. \xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain. \xc2\xb7 Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce lead times. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and related documentation. \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices. \xc2\xb7 Evaluate and mitigate procurement-related risks and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 5-10 years of local UAE experience as a Technical Buyer in an industrial waste processing company, heavy machinery company or similar industry. \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices in the construction and waste processing sector. \xc2\xb7 Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and procurement software ERP\xe2\x80\x99s. \xc2\xb7 Proven experience in technical procurement, with a focus on equipment and services related to industrial waste processing and mining machineries. \xc2\xb7 Established local connections with vendors and suppliers in the UAE. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and supplier management. \xc2\xb7 Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activities. \xc2\xb7 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders. \xc2\xb7 Time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage procurement schedules. \xc2\xb7 Willingness to relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. \xc2\xb7 Experience in both local and international sourcing is highly desirable. \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Can join immediately We offer an attractive salary package based on the candidate\'s skills and experience, in accordance with industry standards.
