JOB TITLE: IT Business Consultant Contract Length: 6 months to 1 year Location: UAE-onsite The objective of this project is to engage a consultant to execute an in-depth review of companies' IT landscape, encompassing business requirements gathering, IT applications and infrastructure assessment, and the development of an actionable implementation plan. The project's specific goals are as follows:

Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders and Heads of Departments (HODs) to identify alignment between organizational goals and technological needs, documenting the current operational challenges and future IT requirements. IT Infrastructure Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of existing IT applications and infrastructure to identify performance gaps, security vulnerabilities, and areas for scalability based on companies' future business model. Development of the Implementation Plan: Create a strategic roadmap that outlines prioritized IT application enhancements and infrastructure upgrades, including timelines, resource requirements, cost estimates, and risk mitigation strategies. Progress Reporting and Project Governance: Establish an effective governance framework to ensure ongoing communication between the consultant, project sponsors, and the Project Management Office (PMO), thereby facilitating regular status updates and stakeholder engagement. Scope of Engagement and Deliverables:

Phase 1: Business requirements gathering through interviews and workshops with key stakeholders to identify strategic goals and current operational pain points. Phase 2: Assessment of the current IT applications and infrastructure to determine performance, security measures, compatibility with future business goals, and benchmarks against industry practices. Phase 3: Development of a tailored implementation plan detailing recommendations, timelines, and resources needed for upgrades or replacements of IT applications and infrastructure. Phase 4: Establishing a progress reporting structure that entails regular updates and meetings to ensure alignment with project goals. Deliverables:

Business Requirements Document (BRD): A comprehensive document detailing the organization's current IT systems, identified gaps, critical success factors, and future IT requirements. IT Assessment Report: An analysis of the existing IT infrastructure and applications, identifying areas for improvement. Implementation Plan: A detailed roadmap of recommended IT applications and infrastructure changes, including timelines, costs, and required resources.
