Assist with new building projects, including onsite visits (if required) and documentation filing.
Support and report to the supervising manager.
Aid the Technical Manager in preparing, monitoring, and controlling repair and maintenance budgets for the fleet, including keeping records of spare parts, fuel, and lube oil usage.
Review and follow up on routine reports from the vessel.
Visit vessels as needed to report on general conditions, ongoing repairs and maintenance, safety, environmental protection, and required actions.
Discuss work plans, running costs, spares, and stores with the Ship\'s Command and report on these issues.
Assist in conducting technical analyses for new purchases.
Ensure continuous maintenance of the vessels\' hull and machinery to guarantee smooth operations.
Ensure that the vessels\' certificates and documents are properly updated and stored.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Preferably have previous experience working on ships.
Strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, are desirable.
A willingness to learn is the most important quality for this role.
Must be able to travel at short notice when required.
