JOB PURPOSEThe jobholder is responsible to lead the Plant Operations and Team to achieve the planned targets in line with the Borouge\'s operating standards, HSE, and Asset Management Policies. This role includes; managing the daily operations and team, overseeing and the asset performance and aligning the maintenance, shutdown, and any plant modification activities, monitoring and aligning the operational safety, and participating in any plant related projects and activities.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESShift Management\xef\x82\xb7 Plan the plant operations\' shifts to ensure availability of the required staffing and skills.\xef\x82\xb7 Organize the workload among the shift teams to ensure balanced activities by the teams per shift to meet the respective targets.\xef\x82\xb7 Lead the daily communications for shift and operations updates to ensure consistent and timely information cascaded to the team.\xef\x82\xb7 Auditing of the shift duties according to operation checklists and suggest necessary update, and review of daily checklist and SOPs implementation.\xef\x82\xb7 Provide the team with support and guidance in relevance to all activities, policy and procedures Production Planning & Control\xef\x82\xb7 Lead the daily operations to meet the production targets, while ensuring compliance to the respective plant practices in the areas of HSE, Asset Integrity, Process, Product, and Technology.\xef\x82\xb7 Direct, co-ordinate and supervise the Plant activities and assigned personnel on shift. Perform management functions at the level established by Senior Management.\xef\x82\xb7 Plan and update operation schedule and communicates this with the planning team.\xef\x82\xb7 Interface with Production Planning & Participate in the meetings with OPCO\'s on operations & coordination issues.Internal Asset Management\xef\x82\xb7 Lead the team to support safe and proper plant working conditions to safeguard the company\'s team, assets, products, and environment.\xef\x82\xb7 Review the Logs of the Shift Supervisors with emphasis on ensuring quality and detail presentation of data. Submit technical reports on Plant trips, abnormal operations/accidents/near misses.\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in root cause analysis and propose modifications to equipment to improve efficiency. Include studying various problems related to the operating equipment, making recommendations for improvement. Authorize for implementing Engineering and other Changes in Plant.\xef\x82\xb7 In close co-operations with Production engineer(s) and Shift Supervisor, follow-up Utilities plant operations regarding, plant optimisation, equipment status, product specifications, and asset related stakeholders.\xef\x82\xb7 Follow-up run length and performance for critical equipment\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor performance of equipment and process units and initiate changes to improve plant reliability/operability/maintainability.\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor performance of equipment and process units and suggest improvements to enhance plant reliability. He is the focal point for Co-ordination with External parties supply. Maintenance Coordination\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor the status of all equipment within the Plant through frequent inspection to ensure that equipment is in the best possible condition with relation to safety and performance\xef\x82\xb7 Direct and control the preparation of Plant equipment for maintenance & overhaul activities ensuring safe working conditions.\xef\x82\xb7 Give guidelines for preparing instructions and plans (SOP\'s) to isolate and prepare equipment and/or process units for safe maintenance activities. Updates Operating Manuals as necessary to reflect gained operating experience and new equipment.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSMinimum Qualification\xef\x82\xb7 University Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant operations with at least 5 years of leading rules.\xef\x82\xb7 Good Problem Solving, Analysing and Leadership skills. \xef\x82\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, multi-cultural workforce exposure\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrate presentation skill.\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of international standards & Knowledge of latest technologies.Jul 19, 2024
