Reporting to Senior Manager - Procurement & Operations Performance, as Team Leader - Operations Performance & Quality you are expected to assist with monitoring adherence to operational performance frameworks in order to ensure operational areas remain compliant with corporate, regulatory, and legislative requirements to which the organization is expected to operate.
Job Accountabilities
As Team Leader, your role will involve:
Demonstrating knowledge of relevant systems, processes, and procedures.
They help to resolve simple issues and develop procedure and help with seeking ways to improve them.
They also maintain accurate and appropriate records, producing timely management information to the agreed levels of quality.
They demonstrate clear adherence to principles and attend all training and development courses required to ensure a high degree of workplace knowledge of processes and systems.
Supervises assigned team members' daily activities related to performance metrics, behaviors and company and regulatory guidelines.
They coach employees on behaviors and activities with the goal of performance improvement, and direct selection, technical training, and career development of personnel.
They create and implement plans that will improve individual, team, and business performance, and maintain thorough and current working knowledge of procedures, methods, and regulatory.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent), and internal experience and managing people for 2 years.
Understanding of Insurance, corporate savings and pensions / end of service benefits being strongly preferred.
Previous experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization would be beneficial.
Skills:
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Accuracy and Attention to details.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office packages- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal in English.
