About the JobTo manage and direct a multi discipline maintenance team of engineers, supervisors & technicians to ensure safe and successful execution of scheduled pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up for maintenance activities in assigned plant/area.Key Accountability
Ensure safety systems are followed as per the standard rules, regulations & practices.
Organize To be in charge of guiding, monitoring and leading an entire team to achieve agreed targets and maximize team performance.
To Discusses the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up schedule and the daily plan with Project, EPC contractor and Operation teams to ensure optimum use of resources such as time, material and labour.
To identify Maintenance deliverables during project phase and ensure all deliverables to be completed on time.
To ensure execution of scheduled pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up maintenance and troubleshooting maintenance activities on large and complex equipment to ensure proper operating conditions of Companys assets and adherence to international standards.
IOMs and document approval, such as mechanical completion dossier, and delivering to project team.
To ensue timely Punch points attendance, followup and confirmation on site by team.
To participate in Safety Audits and Area Walk downs and to agree on acceptation list before Ready for Start Up.
To attend interface meetings with Project Teams and custodian departments in order to facilitate resolution of issues and promote good working relations.
Identify & organize training & development needs of the team members for effective execution of maintenance jobs
Timely update the progress and report any concerns to project stakeholder.
Execution & review of preventive maintenance plans to ensure high reliability of the plant
Organize corrective maintenance activities to minimize the equipment/systems downtime
Contribute in development of strategies, policies & procedures related to the day to day maintenance work.
Ensure proper Root Cause Failure Analysis is done to avoid any repetitive failures.
Identify & organize training & development needs of the team members for effective execution of maintenance jobs
Control the fixed cost & maintenance costs to remain within budget
To ensure effective development of trainees & developees to meet the targets of nationalization
Minimum Requirements
B.Sc. in Engineering discipline from an international recognized educational institute.
At least 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas, petrochemical Industries in maintenance division including practical experience in managing multinational and multi discipline teams.
Familiarization with HSE policies applicable in chemical & petrochemical industry.
Familiarization with CMMS (Computer Maintenace Managemnt System).
Manage, coach and develop a team of supervisors & Technicians.
Good managerial and administrative skills.
Knowledge and understanding of planning tools, techniques, philosophy and processes existing in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Leadership, motivation, analytical and problem solving and decision making skills.
Excellent communication skills with good command of English.
