Job Overview:

The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on involvement in sales activities. The Sales Team Leader will oversee the performance of the team, ensure effective communication, and implement strategies to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Oversee and supervise a team of employees, ensuring they meet performance targets and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Task Delegation: Assign tasks and responsibilities based on the team members' skills and strengths, ensuring efficient workload distribution.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the team's performance, provide feedback, and ensure high productivity. Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives for improvement.

Training & Development: Assist in the on-boarding of new team members and provide ongoing training to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Problem-Solving : Address any issues or challenges that arise within the team, whether they are operational or interpersonal, and take the necessary actions to resolve them.

Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with both team members and senior management. Relay important information, updates, and feedback between both parties.

Motivation & Support: Provide encouragement and support to the team, boosting morale and fostering a positive work environment.

Reporting: Regularly report on team performance, progress, and issues to upper management.
