:Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Teacher of Islamic studies (UAE National) at Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2025-2026 academic year.Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school until Year 8 and a girl's only school from Year 9 onwards. It is located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. Teaching and Learning:xc2xb7 A clear understanding of the Islamic curriculum from Year 1 to Year 13.xc2xb7 Organizing classroom provision, learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment.xc2xb7 Planning, preparing and presenting sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the classes taught.xc2xb7 Motivating pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.xc2xb7 Observing and assessing children in line with the school assessment policy.xc2xb7 Being reflective of the classroom provision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjusting environment, planning and curriculum to reflect this.xc2xb7 Ensure the Mamoura British Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are being embedded throughout the curriculum.C. Assessment and Data:xc2xb7 Taking responsibility for the progress of classes taught.xc2xb7 Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students' development using the schools designated assessment system.xc2xb7 Using data provided by assessments to influence further planning, provision and intervention.xc2xb7 Providing feedback to parents and carers on a students' progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.D. Behaviour Management and Duties:xc2xb7 Follow the Behaviour Policy.xc2xb7 Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students' needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.xc2xb7 Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary within the school's Behaviour Policy.xc2xb7 Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour, which are expected of pupils.xc2xb7 Have high expectations of behaviour, promoting self-control and independence of all learners.xc2xb7 Ensure the Mamoura Values DNA language and attitudes are being embedded throughout the curriculum.xc2xb7 Carry out duties as directed and within the school's policy.E.
