:Aldar Academies are currently seeking an outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage Class Teacher for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2025-2026 Academic Year.Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum school with a Lower, Middle and Senior School model located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. Teaching and learning:xc2xb7 To be able to teach all areas of the Early Years Curriculum.xc2xb7 Thorough knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the new Early Years Curriculum.xc2xb7 Organising the classroom, learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment and support the development of the Mamoura British Academy USP in this area.xc2xb7 Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.xc2xb7 Providing support and interventions for students with EAL or who have additional learning needs.xc2xb7 Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.xc2xb7 Evidencing children's work and learning in line with the Mamoura British Academy Marking and Feedback policy.xc2xb7 Being reflective of lessons taught and student progress, and adjusting planning, curriculum and continuous provision to reflect this.xc2xb7 Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.xc2xb7 Ensuring that the Mamoura British Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attributes are being embedded throughout the curriculum.xc2xb7 Contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the school by sharing best practice, participating in school CPD and T&L initiatives.xc2xb7 To be able to demonstrate effective use of technology through innovative and creative lesson delivery and continuous provision.C. Assessment and data:xc2xb7 Taking responsibility for the attainment and progress of a class of children in the EYFS to ensure that they reach above expected expectations.xc2xb7 Meeting the requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development using Learning Ladders.xc2xb7 Using data provided by assessments to influence further planning and interventions.xc2xb7 Providing regular feedback to parents and carers on a student's progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.xc2xb7 To plan, prepare and contribute to termly Pupil Progress meetings.D. Behaviour management and duties:xc2xb7 To follow the Mamoura British Academy behaviour management policy and promote the TRACK Values to set high expectations.xc2xb7 Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils' needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.xc2xb7 Maintain good relationships with pupils and parents and follow the school's procedures to manage and challenge any rare occurrences of unwanted behaviour.xc2xb7 Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils.xc2xb7 Carry out playground and other duties in a punctual, interactive and proactive manner.xc2xb7 Ensure that any concerns relating to behaviour & safeguarding are accurately followed up on and logged on CPOMS.E. Wider professional responsibilitiesxc2xb7 To work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources and special events linked to that team.xc2xb7 Support with organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.xc2xb7 Communicate effectively with parents/carers with regards to student's achievements and well-being using school systems/processes.xc2xb7 Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.xc2xb7 To run a weekly ECA each term to enhance the provision we offer for our students.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:xc2xb7 A Bachelor degree in Education or Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualificationMinimum Experience:xc2xb7 Teaching experience in the English National Curriculumxc2xb7 EYFS experience preferredJob Specific Knowledge & Skillsxc2xb7 Teaching across the age ability range with proven successxc2xb7 Experience of teaching the UK National Curriculumxc2xb7 Strong Inter-personal skillsxc2xb7 A commitment to school's Vision and Mission Statementxc2xb7 Passion for education, teaching, and a belief in the potential of every studentxc2xb7 The ability to work under pressure, problem-solve and be resilientxc2xb7 Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)xc2xb7 Experience of working in more than one International School desirable
